Active Cushions

Dynamic/Active cushions are ideal for user in chairs and wheelchairs to ensure comfort and stability to the patient. Dynamic cushions are able to adjust to patient movements, and reduce pressure on their bodies by distributing it evenly.

They automatically reduce pressure on the buttocks and are often used for non-medical purposes where someone has to sit in one place for prolonged periods of time. Dynamic cushions are helpful in reducing or preventing pressure sores in patients.

Alerta Sensaflo - Hybrid Cushion and Pump System

The Alerta Sensaflo Hybrid Cushion System is an alternating foam-filled air cell pressure relieving cushion system for effective prevention and treatment of users up to very high risk of developing a pressure ulcer in hospital, nursing and care home environments.

With simple to use settings and functionality, the Alerta Sensaflo Hybrid cushion enables the care provider to quickly set up the cushion system and have it operating at optimal pressure for a specific user with ease. There is no requirement to remove the user from a chair to change from a foam cushion to an alternating air system.

Alerta Sensaflo Hybrid cushion can be used without a pump and boasts a unique SensaGel gel-infused memory foam topper for unrivalled pressure redistribution and improved circulation. When used with a pump it performs the same as an alternating air system. By inflating the cushion and sealing off with the transport cap you can create a balanced-air self-adjusting semi-active cushion.

The Alerta Sensaflo Hybrid incorporates cutting-edge SensaCare Truflo Technology®; with constant pressure sensing through an air sensor and microcomputer regulator to provide ultra-low interface pressure, and ultra-silent pump operation to promote an even ambience for natural comfort and stable blood circulation.
