The Wireless Bed Alertamat is most effective when concealed under the bed sheet on top of the mattress; activating the alarm when a user leaves their bed. This alerts the caregiver to ascertain the user’s safety. The alarm is reset automatically when the user returns to the bed.

The Wireless Bed Alertamat can be connected to a nurse call system through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver for centralised activation, or used on its own, independent of a nurse call system to give localised alerts through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver only. The volume can be deactivated for silent in-room operation when connected to a nurse call system.

The Wireless Under Mattress Alertamat is a discreet bed-exit alert system designed to help caregivers monitor when a person gets out of bed. Placed underneath the mattress, the Alertamat detects when the user leaves the bed and sends an alert to the caregiver, allowing them to respond quickly and check on the user.

The wireless design provides a convenient, cable-free solution for care homes, hospitals, supported living and home care environments, helping to reduce unnecessary cables around the bedside.

When the user returns to bed, the Alertamat automatically resets and is ready to detect the next bed exit. The system can provide a local alert using the compatible Alerta Wall Point Receiver, or can be connected to a compatible nurse call system for centralised caregiver notification.

The Wireless Under Mattress Alertamat has a wireless range of up to 95 metres and features an antibacterial, easy-clean surface. Its slim 25 x 76cm design allows it to be discreetly positioned beneath the mattress.

The wireless transmitter includes selectable 0, 2 or 4-second alert delays, helping to reduce unnecessary or false alarms.
