The Alerta Wall Point Receiver can be connected to a nurse call system for centralised activation, or used on its own, independent of a nurse call system to give localised alerts through this device only. The volume can be deactivated for silent in-room operation when connected to a nurse call system.

It uses radio frequency technology to connect, with a wireless range of up to 95 metres. Once paired with Alerta wireless devices it only transmits to those devices and will not interfere with other Alerta Wall Point Receivers or devices in use nearby.

The Alerta Wall Point Receiver – Stand Alone (W-WPR) is a versatile wireless receiver designed to provide localised alerts from compatible Alerta wireless fall prevention and patient monitoring devices.

Ideal for care homes, hospitals and home-care environments, the Wall Point Receiver can be paired wirelessly with up to five compatible Alerta wireless devices, including wireless Alertamats, the Alerta Detect and Alerta Button. When a paired device is activated, the Wall Point Receiver provides an audible alert to notify carers that attention may be required.

The receiver uses reliable radio frequency technology with a wireless range of up to 95 metres, providing flexibility when positioning the receiver within a care environment. Each receiver communicates only with its paired Alerta devices, helping prevent interference with other Alerta Wall Point Receivers or systems operating nearby.

The Wall Point Receiver can be used as a standalone local alarm, without the need to connect to a nurse call system. It can also be connected to a compatible nurse call system where centralised alerts are required. When connected to a nurse call system, the audible volume can be switched off for silent in-room operation while the alert is passed to the central system.
