Glide & Slide Sheets

The Swift® In-Bed Repositioning System uses the UltraSlide® Bottom Sheet in conjunction with the Swift® Sliders for use with more dependent patients/residents who have little or no mobility and require extensive or total assistance for repositioning. It's Ultra Thin breathable fabrics make the device suitable to remain under the patient at all times, without any negative impact on the performance of specialty mattresses.

The Swift® Slider is a friction reducing device that remains in-situ to assist with patient/resident repositioning, boosting and turning in bed. Made with a breathable, low-friction backing it allows staff to reposition patients/residents safely and easily whilst avoiding heat build up under the patient/resident. The Swift® Sliders can be tucked in when not in use and has the visual appeal of standard bedding.

The thin profile will not impair the performance of pressure redistribution mattresses and can therefore remain on the bed when not in use (tucked in), making it readily available when needed. All Swift® Sliders are designed for both standard and bariatric use.

Full Length Swift Slider - The Full Length Swift Slider supports the full length of a patient/ resident.

This Anti-Slip Slide Sheet helps patients to rotate and re-position themselves easily in bed. While the slippery material enables easy turning, the sheet’s anti-slip panel prevents the patient from sliding forward or slipping out of bed.

Designed for people with good upper sitting balance only, patients also use the anti-slip glide sheet to get in and out of bed safely and independently. Thanks to the clever design and integration of an anti-slip panel, most users can manoeuvre themselves without support from a carer.

Alternatively, dependent patients can use the slide sheet with assistance from a health professional or family member.

Wipeclean, cushioned, and with handles, this Glide and Lock is designed for use with carers and provides constant comfort and stability when in a sitting position.

Our Wipeable Cushioned Chair Glide and Lock with handles offers a waterproof top coating with 4 way stretch properties to improve comfort for the patient and can be easily wiped down and laundered in between uses.

The additional webbing handles on each side of the Wipeable Cushioned Chair Glide and Lock with handles allow carers to help slide the patient where necessary from the sides or behind.

The Wipeable Cushioned Glide and Lock with handles are suitable for most chairs, including – static and recliner chairs, wheelchairs and sofas. Please note, the top wipeable surface is not as breathable as our standard model. However, this material is a more convenient surface for patients who may have incontinence problems or home care environments, wards area’s and other departments.

Antibacterial wipes can be used to clean the product, or it can be laundered up to 72° C and tumble dried on a low to medium heat. Chlorine bleach is not to be used.

The Cromptons Healthcare Poly-glide Slide Sheet is a Patient Specific Slide Sheet. It is produced in tough PP with a low friction PU coating to provide easy patient repositioning or transfer. 

The Poly-glide is a universal sheet suited to all healthcare departments and could be included within an infection control strategy to assist in combating MRSA and other infectious bacteria, helping to create a more hygienic and safer environment for patients.

The Poly-glide Flat Slide Sheets can be used as a pair back-to-back or as a single sheet folded in half to provide multi-directional movement for seated or supine patients and avoid the need for manual patient lifting.

The Poly-glide carton contains 100 slide sheets and acts as a neat convenient dispenser. Simply open the box and the Poly-glide slides are ready to be dispensed.
