The Wireless Floor+ Alertamat with Transmitter (W-PAM-T) is a robust, long-life wireless floor alarm mat designed to support falls prevention and patient safety in care homes, hospitals and home-care environments.

Ideal for positioning beside a bed or across a doorway, the mat activates an alert when a patient or resident steps onto it, notifying caregivers that they may have left their designated safe area. This can help care staff respond promptly and check the person's safety.

Unlike wired floor alarm mats, the Wireless Floor+ Alertamat uses a battery-powered wireless transmitter, eliminating the need for a cable running between the mat and the receiver. This provides greater flexibility when positioning the mat and helps reduce potential cable-related trip hazards.

The large 60 x 90cm detection area provides generous coverage around the bedside or doorway and helps reduce the likelihood of a person stepping over the mat. Its light-coloured, discreet design is also suitable for dementia care environments where a less visually prominent mat may be less likely to be deliberately avoided.

The Wireless Floor+ Alertamat connects wirelessly to an Alerta Wall Point Receiver, sold separately. The receiver can provide a localised audible alert or connect to a compatible nurse call system for centralised activation. When integrated with a nurse call system, the receiver's audible volume can be switched off for silent in-room operation.

Built for regular use in demanding healthcare environments, the mat features a genuine non-slip base, durable welded seals, strong wiring and hygienic antibacterial material that is easy to clean.

The Wireless Deluxe Alertamat is most effective when placed at the bedside or doorway; activating the alarm when a user leaves their safe zone by stepping on the mat. This alerts the caregiver to ascertain the user’s safety. Selecting a colour that blends with the existing flooring makes it an ideal solution for situations where a dementia user may try to avoid the mat.

The Wireless Deluxe Alertamat can be connected to a nurse call system through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver for centralised activation, or used on its own, independent of a nurse call system to give localised alerts through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver only. The volume can be deactivated for silent in-room operation when connected to a nurse call system.
